SUMMER
LEADERSHIP INTENSIVE
Mondays
June 13, 20, & 27, 2022
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern
Each summer, Healthy Congregations offers opportunities to engage in the application of systems thinking to theology, leadership and organizational process in a concentrated time frame.
Modeled on our year-long Leadership Series, Summer Intensives give the opportunity to focus on the work of thinking about emotional process and leadership in a three day format. The programs present theoretical perspectives, theological exploration as well as workplace and family application.
"Re-Engaging When the Landscape Has Changed"
After two years of learning how to disengage from routines, public spaces and other people, returning to "normal" does not appear to be an option. How has the landscape shifted in your world? Do you observe a sparseness? Do you see, like some, a vast landscape that feels almost uninhabitable? (And at the same time an on-line, virtual landscape that over-crowds and overwhelms?) How can we begin to see the lay of the land more clearly? How does this shift invite curiosity and creativity in how we engage with each other and the future? Through the universal and timeless lens of Bowen Family Systems Theory and its concepts we can begin to re-engage and re-ground in ways that are productive, life-giving and liberating.
