Highlights from Ronald Richardson

Healthy Congregations 2012-2013 Leadership Series presented Dr. Ronald W. Richardson on May 17, 2013.  The event was held at Ohio Dominican University's Martin de Porres Center.

Dr. Richardson is the author of:  Creating a Healthier Church, Becoming a Healthier Pastor, and Polarization and the Healthier Church, the Healthy Congregations Book of the Year.

Dr. Richardson's theme for the May 17th event was, Polarization in Society and in Congregations: Understanding It and Addressing It
-Polarization continues to be a growing phenomenon in our society and in our churches.  While we naturally tend to link it with personalities, small groups, or even political parties, it is actually a symptom of emotional process in society.

Building on the work he first presented in his book Polarization and the Healthier Church: Applying Bowen Family Systems Theory to Conflict and Change in Society and Congregational Life, Dr. Richardson will go deeper into the polarization process and explore effective ways of being present within the process.

Dr. Richardson presented to a room of 100 attendees.  Healthy Congregations staff livecasted the event to individuals and cluster groups all over the continental US.  The event with Dr. Richardson has been well received.
A livecast participant stated in email, "My initial feedback on the Richardson Webinar... 100% Awesome.  Please do more webinars with more great systems thinkers!"

Healthy Congregations 2013-2014 Leadership Series will present Systems Thinker Pricilla Friesen.
