Healthy Congregations is providing an opportunity for people in the Great Lakes region to be trained as facilitators in a way which many may find easier to accommodate in their schedules. The training will take the normal time frame of three days and cover all facilitator materials, but the three days of training will be spread throughout the spring. We hope you will choose to be part of this exciting opportunity.

Cost
$425, paid to Healthy Congregations by the first session.
Lodging
Accommodations for people who are coming from a distance for the day can be arranged individually at the seminary by calling Brenda Grubb (614-235-4136). The seminary has a limited number of apartments available for visitors for $50 per night. Accommodations can also be arranged individually at the Country Inn and Suites Hotel (614-478-2900). When calling Country Inn and Suites be sure to identify yourself with Healthy Congregations and you will receive a discounted rate ($74).
Special Note
This facilitator training will include many senior Master of Divinity students from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and Bexley Hall Episcopal Seminary. The learning environment promises to be especially upbeat, welcoming, and energetic.
Instructor
Rev. Dr. Emlyn Ott
Emlyn Ott is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has served as a parish pastor, campus minister, pastoral counselor, leader and seminary professor during the past 20 years. She was named the CEO and Director of the Healthy Congregations, Inc. in 2005. She holds a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, a Doctor of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary and is a Clinical Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. She has participated for six years in post-graduate work at The Center for Family Process and The Bowen Center for the Study of the Family. Dr. Ott currently serves as Assistant Professor of Ministry and Pastoral Leadership at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio.
